Sunanqi Huang is a young passionate audio engineer. She has worked as a recording/mixing engineer, sound designer and composer. Born in Guangzhou, China, she started to play piano at a young age and attended the middle school attached to the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, where she began her professional music studies. In 2015, she went to high school in New York City and was accepted into the Precollege Division at the Manhattan School of Music. With interest in interacting with music and sound art, she pursued her B.A. in Music Technology degree at Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State, she began her recording engineer career and completed multiple composition and sound design projects. To achieve higher level skills in audio technology and fuse them in the creation of sound art, she is currently attending the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and pursuing the M.A. in Recording Arts and Science degree.
Sunanqi worked at the Guangdong Television Center and Xinghai Concert Hall, and had opportunities to work with many world-renowned artists, including Haochen Zhang, Guangzhou Symphonic Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphonic Orchestra.
